Coorg & Chikmagalur: Coffee Hills of Karnataka

Arrive at Bengaluru/Mysuru and drive to Madikeri, the heart of Coorg (approx. 250 km from Bengaluru, 5-6 hours). Check in and visit Raja's Seat in the evening for a sunset over the Western Ghats. Overnight stay in Coorg.

Visit Abbey Falls amid coffee and spice plantations, followed by the Namdroling Golden Temple at Bylakuppe, one of the largest Tibetan settlements in India. Later, visit Dubare Elephant Camp on the banks of the Kaveri River. Overnight stay in Coorg.

After breakfast, drive to Chikmagalur (approx. 100 km, 3 hours) through winding hill roads and coffee estates. Check in and relax at your plantation stay in the evening. Overnight stay in Chikmagalur.

Morning walk through a working coffee plantation, followed by a visit to Hebbe Falls or Kemmangundi viewpoint (subject to road conditions). Optional trek towards Mullayanagiri, Karnataka's highest peak. Overnight stay in Chikmagalur.

After breakfast, drive back to Bengaluru/Mysuru for your onward journey, carrying home the aroma of Karnataka's coffee country.
