Shillong & Cherrapunji: Meghalaya Explorer

Arrive at Guwahati and drive to Shillong (approx. 100 km, 3 hours). Check in and spend the evening at Police Bazar and Ward's Lake. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Visit Elephant Falls, one of Meghalaya's most photographed waterfalls, followed by Shillong Peak for panoramic city views and the Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures museum. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Drive to Cherrapunji/Sohra (approx. 55 km, 1.5-2 hours). Visit Nohkalikai Falls, one of India's tallest waterfalls, and the limestone Mawsmai Caves. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

Optional trek to the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge at Nongriat village (moderate-strenuous, approx. 3-4 hours round trip), or visit the more accessible Dainthlen Falls and viewpoints for a relaxed day. Return to Shillong by evening. Overnight stay in Shillong.

After breakfast, drive back to Guwahati for your onward flight/train home.
